Pastor Dale Walters was born in Omega, Ga. (a wide spot in the road), September 24, 1961. He married his lovely wife Brenda September 24, 1982. Her birthday is April 18th and they have two boys, Austin the youngest who lives with them still, and Roger who lives in central Florida with his wife Felicia.
Dale was called to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ March 23, 1992. He was first ordained by the Southern Baptists November 14, 1993 and his first pastorate was that same year at Mt Zion Baptist Church in Axson, Georgia.
He was in Axson for six years when he felt God's leading to move to Hazelhurst, Georgia and take the role of Associate Pastor at Southside Baptist Church where he served honorably for four years.
Dale moved his family to Marianna, Florida where he served as Associate Pastor for eighteen months at which time he received the Baptism in the Holy Ghost and felt the need to make some major changes in his ministry and in his life.
Dale became officially affiliated with Associated Ministries Inc. in April of 2005 and was ordained by Rev. Jack Hollis, founder of A.M.I. With this affiliation came his appointment to begin pastoring HarvestLifeChurch (now Joy Fellowship) in Crestview, Florida.
Dale's commitment to Joy Fellowship is a life-long commitment, "until the Lord's return" says Dale.
Since the Crestview church's embracing Dale as pastor in April of 2005, the church has experienced a great renewal and phenomenal growth both spiritually and numerically!
